For this project, I focused on designing a comfortable, supportive environment for senior residents by prioritizing their physical, mental, and emotional well-being. Through careful research on aging-in-place and senior-centered design, the space integrates safety, accessibility, and community-building elements. ADA-compliant features, clear wayfinding, grab bars, non-slip materials, and thoughtful acoustics ensure ease of movement and daily living. lighting, furniture, and finishes were selected to reduce strain, increase comfort, and create an atmosphere that feels calm yet engaging.

The overall concept centers on building a healthy, lively, and adaptable space that empowers seniors to stay active, creative, and connected. By blending functional design with a warm, home-like aesthetic, the environment encourages independence while supporting social interaction, relaxation and a sense of belonging.
